CTN starts preparing for 2009 high season
The Tunisian National Shipping Company ( CTN / Tunisia Ferries ) announces that bookings for the 2009 season will start, next Tuesday, February 10.
The company, which is preparing to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary next March, will use three car ferries "Carthage" "El Habib" and "El Venizélos" to ensure the return of Tunisian expatriates under good conditions.
One hundred and six crossings were scheduled on the two regular lines of Marseille and Genoa in the summer period:
- Fifty nine crossings on the Marseille line with a hosting capacity of 116,000 passengers and 37,000 vehicles.
- Forty seven crossings on the Genoa line with a hosting capacity of 92,000 passengers and 30,000 vehicles.
All in all, CTN will provide to its customers in the high season of 2009 an estimated capacity of 208,000 passengers and 67,000 vehicles.
Like the previous seasons, CTN has scheduled the arrival of three trips from Marseille to inland ports:
- To the port of Sfax: June 26, 2009
- To the port of Bizerte: June 30, 2009
- To the port of Sousse: July 7, 2009
