Children looking for a way to treat their mums on Mother's Day this year can catch cheap ferries to the Isle of Wight to make use of a number of promotional initiatives and discounts on the island.
According to Isle of Wight Tourism, the destination offers "a gift experience to suit every mum", ranging from adventurous outdoor activities to relaxing spa sessions.
Popular health facilities on the island include Utopia Spa in Sandown, which offers a range of treatments including massages, facials, body wraps and holistic therapies.
There will also be a number of events and activities taking place at The Grange in Shanklin, including yoga classes on Mother's Day weekend, followed by salsa sessions and creative writing courses later in the year.
The Quay Arts Centre will host a sewing and textile workshop on March 21st and 22nd which is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned sewers.
People planning to visit the Isle of Wight this year can catch Wightlink ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth or from Southampton to Cowes.
The operator also provides ferry crossings to Fishbourne and Ryde from Portsmouth.
