Catch a Liverpool ferry for the Merseyside derby | | | | 02 December 2008 | Premier League football fans in Ireland and the Isle of Man will be able to catch a Liverpool ferry in January to see one of the biggest matches of the season the Merseyside derby.
Liverpool will host their local rivals Everton at Anfield on January 19th, with the match scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
The game will present an opportunity for revenge for the men in blue, as they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool at Goodison Park in September.
Rafa Benitez and his players will have just as much will to win, however, as they will need to pick up as many home points as possible if they hope to lift their first league trophy in 19 years this season.
Fans planning to visit Anfield for the derby can catch Liverpool ferry services from Dublin or Belfast with Norfolkline.
P&O Ferries also sails to the English city from Dublin, while the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company offers ferry crossings to Merseyside from Douglas. |
