The hugely popular comedian will perform at the city's Odyssey Arena on October 15th as part of his Big UK tour.
Evans has become one of the world's most successful comics in recent years, with more than a quarter of a million people seeing his sold-out XL tour in 2005.
He has also shown his talents on the big screen, appearing in hit Hollywood movies such as There's Something About Mary, The Fifth Element and Funny Bones.
People planning ferry crossings to Belfast over the coming months will be able to enjoy plenty of shows at the Odyssey Arena, including a gig by Nickelback on September 12th and performances by Oasis on October 29th and 30th.
