Catch cheap ferries to Spain for Cirque du Soleil

Holidaymakers planning to catch cheap ferries to Spain for a spring getaway this year may get the chance to see a show by the world famous Cirque du Soleil.

The entertainment company is currently presenting its show Varekai in Seville in southern Spain and will bring it to the ferry port town of Bilbao in March.

Visitors to Bilbao will be able to see the show at the Botica Vieja venue from March 26th to April 19th.

Varekai, which boasts all of the stunning effects and physical performances associated with Cirque du Soleil, tells the story of a young man and an adventure he embarks upon after falling from the sky into a magical forest.

The show, which has now been touring for five years, features aerial performers, clowns, balancing acts, jugglers and an energetic soundtrack to accompany the visual spectacles.

People interested in seeing Varekai can catch cheap ferries to Spain with P&O Ferries, which sails from Portsmouth to Bilbao.

Brittany Ferries also offers ferry crossings to the nearby port of Santander from Plymouth and Portsmouth.
