Catch cheap ferries to enjoy 7UP Christmas on Ice
12 September 2008
Skating event taking place in Dublin
Brits planning ferry crossings to Dublin over the Christmas period will be given the chance to get into the festive spirit at 7UP Christmas on Ice.

This event will provide fun for all the family when it comes to the Royal Dublin Society for the sixth year and to the Liffey Valley shopping centre for the second time, where visitors will be able to shop and skate.

The 7UP Christmas on Ice event has reportedly been hailed by the Late Late Show, Gerry Ryan and TV3 as Dublin's must-do festive activity.

It will encompass almost 2,000 square metres of ice for visitors to enjoy, including main, beginners' and kids' ice rinks and viewing areas.

Particular highlights of the event will include appearances by skating Santas every weekend and a skate camp for children, which will run from December 30th to January 2nd.

Visitors will be able to enjoy 7UP Christmas on Ice from November 14th until January next year.

Ferry crossings to Dublin are provided from the Isle of Man, Liverpool and Holyhead by operators including Stena Line, P&O Ferries and the Steam Packet Company.
