Jazz music fans will be booking their cheap ferries to Belgium soon to catch a concert by the singer Madeleine Peyroux in Brussels in April.
The vocalist and songwriter will get a short tour of Europe underway when she visits Amsterdam, another popular ferry travel destination, for a show at the Concertgebouw on April 20th.
She will then visit Groningen and Eindhoven in the Netherlands before playing at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on April 24th.
These dates will follow on from the release of the singer's fifth album, Bare Bones, on March 10th.
Peyroux is well known for her distinctive vocal style, which has often led to comparisons with the great jazz performer Billie Holiday.
In July 2007 she was named the best international jazz artist at the BBC Jazz Awards.
People interested in seeing Peyroux's concert in Brussels can catch ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge with P&O Ferries or from Ramsgate to Ostend with
TransEuropa Ferries.
Eurostar also offers rail connections from London's St Pancras station to Brussels.
