Thousands of sports fans are set to book a
Liverpool to Dublin ferry service at the start of September as they head to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final.
Due to take place on September 6th at the traditional home of Gaelic sports, Croke Park, tickets for the biggest hurling game of the year are likely to be sold out well in advance.
Aside from sports fans, the Dublin stadium will also be full of tourists keen to catch a glimpse of one of the oldest games in the world.
The best teams from the regions of Munster, Leinster, Connaught and Ulster set to battle it out in order to determine the 2009 victor.
The senior championship dates back to 1887 and is organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association, with Kilkenny the reigning champions.
Croke Park also attracts visitors taking ferries to Ireland throughout the year as it plays host to some of the biggest names in world music.
The stadium is just a 15 minute walk from O'Connell Street in the heart of Dublin, while hundreds of fans are likely to flock to the Temple Bar nightlife district after the September finals.
