Families looking for a memorable holiday experience this year can take ferries to Spain to join in with some anniversary celebrations at PortAventura.
The theme park, which is located near Barcelona in north-east Spain, will host a number of special events this year to mark its 15th anniversary.
Holidaymakers can reach the country's northern coast via the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry route, which will be served by
P&O Ferries until September.
PortAventura opened to the public on May 1st 1995 and has since welcomed almost 50 million visitors.
This year's festivities will kick off on March 26th, providing fun and entertainment to families in the form of shows including PortAventura LIVE!, which will feature dancing and acrobatics reflecting all five of the park's themed areas.
There will also be a carnival featuring floats and dancers, who will parade around the attraction to create the atmosphere of a Spanish fiesta.
Brave visitors can try out some of the park's white-knuckle rides, such as the Dragon Khan and Furius Baco rollercoasters.
Holidaymakers heading to Spain this year can also travel on one of
Brittany Ferries' Santander ferry services from Portsmouth or Plymouth.
