The Bout du Monde festival will lead to a boost in demand for cross channel ferries among music fans this summer.
Travellers will be sailing with Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries and other operators to attend the festival in Presqu'ile de Crozon between July 31st and August 2nd.
Highlights of the festival this year will include performances by the British singer Marianne Faithfull and reggae artist Winston McAnuff.
German singer-songwriter Ayo will also appear at the 2009 Bout du Monde festival, along with Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela.
As well as enjoying the live music on offer, people visiting the festival this year can take some time to explore the town of Crozon, which boasts sandy beaches and plenty of quaint markets to explore.
Travellers can catch
ferries from Portsmouth to St Malo with Brittany Ferries to reach north-west France or use the Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry service operated by LD Lines.
