Check out the MA Festival on Belgium ferry breaks
Ferries to Belgium will prove a popular travel option with music lovers this summer as the MA Festival is held in Bruges.

This event, which has been a cultural tradition in Bruges since 1964, will take place in various venues across the city from July 31st to August 9th this year.

People who are interested in attending the festival can catch ferries to Zeebrugge from Rosyth with Norfolkline or use P&O Ferries' Hull to Zeebrugge ferry service.

Highlights of the 2009 MA Festival concert programme will include a tribute to the Italian composer Claudio Monteverdi at the Lissewege on August 2nd, which will feature performances by Uri Caine, the Ensemble Inegal and others.

Bruges' Concertgebouw will be one of the main festival venues, hosting events including a tribute to the mezzo-soprano singer Faustina Bordino on August 4th.

As well as sailing directly to Bruges, travellers planning to visit Belgium this year can catch ferries to Ostend from Ramsgate with TransEuropa Ferries or use the Eurostar to get to Brussels.
