Christmas entertainment on offer in Val d'Isere |  | | | 01 December 2008 | People planning ski holidays in Val d'Isere this Christmas will be able to enjoy plenty of festive entertainment as the resort hosts a week of special events and activities.
From December 20th to 27th, visitors to Val d'Isere will have the chance to attend gospel concerts and children's shows, while the resort itself will be given a seasonal glow by dazzling light displays.
Family groups on ski holidays in the area will also be able to treat their children to a visit with Father Christmas.
The ski slopes of Val d'Isere will be gradually filling up over the coming weeks following the opening of the resort on November 29th.
Val d'Isere is one of the most popular destinations for ski holidays in France, boasting 300km of slopes, free-ride skiing itineraries, a snowpark and an impressive high-altitude location.
Europe's Alpine ski resorts have already enjoyed plenty of snow this winter, with a fresh layer falling in southern France over the weekend in time for the opening of Val d'Isere. |
