Travellers planning to take
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne with
Wightlink this year will be able to make use of a new coffee shop that recently opened at the port on England's south coast.
The Costa Coffee outlet opened at Gunwharf car ferry terminal last week following a refurbishment of the retail area.
Customers can buy a range of drinks and snacks from the shop, which occupies one half of a unit that also houses a refurbished store selling coffee, tea and food on a self-service basis.
While people travelling on Wightlink's Portsmouth to Fishbourne ferry route should head to the Gunwharf terminal, those taking ferries to Ryde will sail from Portsmouth Harbour.
Those embarking on their journey from the harbour can pick up a drink or something to eat at the Coffee Quay outlet before boarding the catamaran for their short crossing to the Isle of Wight.
The island is home to famous attractions and landmarks such as the Needles, Osborne House and Blackgang Chine amusement park.
It is also accessible via the
Hovertravel service from Southsea to Ryde.
