There are many good reasons to catch
ferries from Liverpool to Belfast, but one great event taking place this summer is the Peace One Day concert in Derry/Londonderry on June 21st.
Held as part of Peace One Day's Global Truce campaign, the event will feature music from a range of artists, with concerts held around the world so far featuring big names like Annie Lennox, Brian Adams Kasabian, Yusuf (Cat Stevens) and James Morrison.
And Derry/Londonderry is a city that may be considered highly appropriate, as it is a location that saw much of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, but has moved a long way towards putting its past behind it.
Indeed, next year will see another reason to visit the city - it will be European City of culture in 2013.
Art lovers may be particularly interested by the fact that the Turner Prize is being presented in the city as part of the event - only the third time this has taken place outside London.
