Holidaymakers embarking on a DFDS voyage can venture to a European Centre Parcs, embark on a quiet and relaxing cottage holiday or take an action-packed touring holiday.
Among the company's most popular routes are the cruise ferries to Denmark and the Netherlands, ensuring that travellers have a number of options in terms of how they reach the continent.
The line's cruise ferries depart everyday from Newcastle to Amsterdam and either three of four times a week from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark.
Passengers arriving in the Dutch capital have easy onward access to Belgium, France and Germany while those travelling onwards from Esbjerg can reach the rest of Denmark, Sweden and northern Germany.
A further option is to drive to Copenhagen from where a
DFDS Seaways ferry to Oslo can be caught.
DFDS renewed its fleet of ships in 2006 by purchasing MS King of Scandinavia and MS Princess of Norway.
