Passengers booking a
DFDS Seaways cruise ferry to Amsterdam this month will be doing their bit for a good cause.
This is because ticket prices are being donated to Children North East, with this applying to cheap ferries departing from Newcastle for the Dutch capital on December 7th and 8th.
DFDS Seaways' ferries to Amsterdam offer an upmarket cruise experience, with impressive menus and entertainment all part of the offering.
Amsterdam is a popular ferry destination owing to its close proximity to the UK, with the city famed for its tree-lined canals, parks and art galleries.
Highlights include Madame Tussauds, the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank's House, with an Amsterdam City Pass saving the city breaker up to 25 per cent on entry prices.
In addition to The Netherlands,
DFDS Seaways operates cheap ferries to Denmark from Harwich in Essex, with the country popular among holidaymakers thanks to its cobbled streets and picturesque timbered houses.
Thanks to the ferry services, the neighbouring countries of Germany, Belgium, Norway, Sweded and France are all easily accessible.
