DFDS Seaways lists reasons to travel by ferry

DFDS Seaways lists reasons to travel by ferry
DFDS Seaways has published a list of reasons why consumers mulling over their travel options should choose to embark on their holiday by ferry this year.

At the top of the list is the fact that ferry passengers can take as many suitcases as they can squeeze into their car and can even bring their pet along for a small additional charge.

People sailing with DFDS Seaways were informed that they can also look forward to "scrumptious" food at establishments such as the Blue Riband restaurant, Explorers steakhouse and 7 Seas all-you-can-eat buffet.

Families will find plenty to amuse children on one of the company's ferry crossings - from the kids' club to free entertainers during the school holidays - while wildlife lovers can head out onto the deck to spot whales, dolphins and porpoises.

DFDS Seaways also highlighted the mental and physical benefits of sea travel, with passengers able to sit back, relax and arrive at their destination feeling refreshed.

The company operates daily ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam and also provides access to Denmark via the Harwich to Esbjerg ferry route.
