DFDS Seaways offers summer holiday suggestions

Now that so many families are beginning to plan their summer getaways, DFDS Seaways has offered some suggestions on destinations to visit and things to do over the coming months.

One option is to catch ferries from Harwich to Esbjerg with DFDS Seaways to visit Lalandia Billund, which the operator describes as "one of Denmark's most famous attractions".

Located close to Legoland, Lalandia Billund features a waterpark, a children's activity centre, holiday homes on site and other facilities.

Travellers planning to catch ferries to Esbjerg this year can also take a drive to the island of Funen for an activity holiday, with plenty of opportunities to go hiking, swimming, mountain biking or fishing.

DFDS Seaways also recommended a trip to Park Zelande in Holland, which offers access to a small beach and a golf course, as well as plenty of restaurants and swimming pools.

People interested in visiting this attraction can catch ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam with DFDS Seaways.
