Travellers planning to take
ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam with
DFDS Seaways this year can look forward to seeing some "dazzling" shows during their journey, the company has revealed.
The ferry operator announced that it had hired Peel Entertainment to provide the onboard amusements on its route to Holland.
Passengers will be able to get their evening underway with some interactive game shows, bingo and quizzes, which will be followed by live music concerts featuring everything from Motown classics and West End show tunes to Abba hits.
Younger passengers on DFDS Seaways' ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam can head to a children's area featuring a ball pool, treasure hunts and live entertainment shows.
John Crummie, the ferry company's UK managing director, said: "It is crucial to keep the onboard entertainment up to date and Peel certainly lives up to its excellent reputation.
"The new entertainment is truly refreshing and will keep our passengers happy and relaxed as they cruise to their destination."
Travellers heading to The Netherlands can also take
