DFDS Seaways has released a new brochure promoting its ferry services and mini-cruises for 2009-10.
The publication provides details on European Christmas markets, romantic cruises for Valentine's Day and other travel opportunities in Holland, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.
People planning to head to Europe can catch ferries to Amsterdam from Newcastle with
DFDS Seaways or travel on the Harwich to Esbjerg ferry route.
The operator said that travelling by ferry means that holidaymakers can take full advantage of a short break.
"With none of the stresses of airports, you can check into your cabin and enjoy the onboard experience," a statement from
DFDS Seaways said.
The new brochure also includes information on themed Amsterdam ferry trips taking place during the 2009-10 season, which will include a comedy cruise and an Abba tribute.
Other travel options for people planning a holiday in Europe include P&O Ferries' Hull to Rotterdam ferry route and
Stena Line's
ferries from Harwich to Hook of Holland.
