Families should consider taking ferries to Esbjerg for a fun and memorable break in Denmark, according to
DFDS Seaways.
The company said that choosing the option of sea travel will allow holidaymakers to "make the most of family time".
DFDS Seaways operates three weekly ferries to Esbjerg from Harwich, which depart from the British port at 17:45.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy a meal in the restaurant or watch a DVD in their cabin, while youngsters can have some fun in the Kidz Club area.
Upon arrival in Denmark, options for visitors include driving to Copenhagen to visit attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, or simply absorbing the culture of this popular city break destination.
Families can also head to the Legoland resort in Billund, which is home to more than 50 rides, attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy.
The park will open for the 2010 summer season on March 27th.
DFDS Seaways also offers a travel option for people interested in visiting Holland with its Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry service.
