DFDS Seaways to board caravans free

DFDS Seaways to board caravans free
26 August 2008
Caravan users will be able to board their vehicle for free on some DFDS Seaways services
DFDS Seaways has announced that this year it will be allowing passengers with caravans to transport their vehicles for free.

The operator said that the offer is open on Sunday and Monday sailings to Europe for people who know the dates they want to travel and book early.

DFDS Seaways offers two ferry crossings to Europe – from Newcastle to Amsterdam and from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark.

While on board, travellers can enjoy a number of amenities provided by DFDS Seaways, including restaurants, bars, a nightclub and live entertainment.

Amsterdam is one of Europe's leading city break destinations, boasting attractions including the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank's house, the Rijksmuseum and miles of historic canals.

Esbjerg is centred around its harbour and is one of the main ports of entry into Denmark, a country famous for its Viking history and impressive landscapes.
