DFDS Seaways will join in with revellers all over the world in March this year as it launches a themed mini-cruise to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
The operator will mark the saint's day, which will be celebrated on March 17th this year, on its daily ferry crossing from Newcastle to Amsterdam.
Passengers will be treated to St Patrick's Day cocktails, Guinness promotions and even a U2 tribute band.
Once they arrive in Amsterdam, travellers will be able to find plenty of bars and nightclubs where they can get into the spirit of the occasion, as well as restaurants and cafes offering a more relaxing way to spend the day.
Dublin ferries will be another popular option in the run-up to St Patrick's Day as the Irish capital hosts a festival starting on March 13th and culminating in a huge parade on the 17th.
P&O Ferries and Norfolkline provide Dublin ferry services from Liverpool, while
Irish Ferries and Stena Line sail to the city from Holyhead.
People travelling from the Isle of Man can make use of the Steam Packet Company's ferry route to Dublin from Douglas.
