DFDS not bidding for Scandlines

SSG-RINGKOBING. The DFDS Group is not among the official bidders for Scandlines. At the time, DFDS did not submit a bid for the Danish/German ferry company.

The vice president Peder Gellert explains: "We are still interested in the freight activities in the Baltic area, but only in that part of the company. That means that we will not submit a bid for the whole company".

The DFDS Group have sent clear signals to the market, that it is still interested in the freight activities, which might come up for sale if Scandlines is sold to an equity fund or one of the other setups.
