Dionne Warwick to visit Belfast |  | | | 13 October 2008 | Fans of music legend Dionne Warwick will have the chance to catch cheap ferries to Belfast this year to see the star perform at the Waterfront Hall.
The singer will present a show at the Belfast venue on December 3rd leading fans through her expansive career, from her collaborations with Burt Bacharach and Hal David to her recent releases.
This show is one of many that Warwick will perform around the UK and Europe before the end of the year, with other gigs scheduled at Vicar Street in Dublin (December 1st) and the RAI in Amsterdam (December 14th), among other venues.
During her career, the Walk on By singer has picked up five Grammy awards and released 56 singles that were ranked in Billboard magazine's Hot 100 chart in the United States.
Popular music fans will be able to catch a number of shows at the Belfast Waterfront Hall over the coming months, including a gig by Shakin' Stevens on December 2nd and a Daniel O'Donnell concert on December 8th.
Ferries to Dublin are available from Stranraer with Stena Line, from Liverpool with Norfolkline Irish Sea and from Douglas with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. |
