Dublin ferries will be transporting plenty of literature lovers across the Irish Sea this year as the Irish capital hosts two major cultural events.
First up will be the Dublin Book Festival, which will be held in City Hall from March 6th to 8th, transforming the venue into a reader's paradise.
Visitors will be able to meet some of Ireland's best-known writers, poets and media personalities, attend free interviews and book launches or just browse through the festival bookshop to pick up some new reading material.
Later in the month, Dublin ferry passengers will be able to attend the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Poetry Now Festival, which is one of the most prestigious literary events in Ireland.
Set to be held at the Pavilion Theatre from March 26th to 29th, the festival will bring together poets of many nationalities and styles who will take part in workshops, debates, readings and other events.
P&O Ferries and Norfolkline both offer ferries to Dublin from Liverpool, while Stena Line and
Irish Ferries sail to the capital city from Holyhead.
Dun Laoghaire, the destination that will host the Poetry Now Festival, is also accessible on a Stena Line ferry crossing from Holyhead.
