Travellers catching ferries to Dublin later this year will have some world-class live entertainment to enjoy as the city hosts the Bulmers International Comedy Festival.
The event will bring some of the biggest names in modern comedy to the Irish capital from September 6th to 27th.
People interested in visiting the festival this year can catch ferries to Dublin from Holyhead, Liverpool and the Isle of Man.
One of the highlights of the Bulmers International Comedy Festival will be an appearance by Michael McIntyre, who will perform two shows at the Olympia Theatre on September 6th and 7th.
Jimmy Carr will also give two gigs at the Olympia Theatre on September 17th and 18th, while Rich Hall and his alter-ego Otis Lee Crenshaw will visit the same venue on September 21st.
The festival programme will bring together much more comedy talent from all over the world, including American stand-up and actress Janeane Garofalo and female singing trio Fascinating Aida.
Both P&O Ferries and
Norfolkline operate Liverpool to Dublin ferry routes, while
Irish Ferries and
Stena Line offer ferries to Dublin from Holyhead.
The Steam Packet Company provides two weekly ferry crossings to the Irish capital for people travelling from the Isle of Man.
