Dublin ferry breaks to offer circus entertainment

There will be some unusual entertainment on offer to travellers taking Dublin ferry breaks later this year when the Irish capital hosts the Temple Bar Circus Festival.

This event will be held in Dublin's popular cultural quarter from July 9th to 12th, bringing performers with all sorts of weird and wonderful talents to the city from around Ireland and the world.

Visitors will be able to see everything from street performances and public parades to live music and outdoor film screenings at the festival.

There are also special boat tours, promotions and limited offers available across Dublin during the event, ensuring that the Temple Bar area is full of life and activity for the whole weekend.

The Circus Festival is not the only event that travellers can catch ferries to Dublin to see over the coming months, with the 2009 Midsummer celebrations taking place on June 20th and 21st, followed by the Chocolate Festival later in the year.

Holidaymakers can catch ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with both P&O Ferries and Norfolkline Irish Sea or alternatively travel on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route with Stena Line or Irish Ferries.
