Tourism Ireland has informed people planning Dublin ferry trips and other breaks in the city this autumn that they can look forward to a 'cultural adventure'.
The tourism agency highlighted a number of special events that will be taking place in the Irish capital over the coming weeks and months, such as the city's Theatre Festival, which will run from September 30th to October 17th.
Visitors will be able to see a range of shows - from contemporary productions to Broadway hits - and attend workshops, panel discussions, film screenings and other events.
Theatre fans who want to check out the festival can take
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line.
Also returning this year is Openhouse Dublin, an architectural showcase that will begin on October 7th and run for four days.
Free tours led by professionals and enthusiasts will offer a fascinating insight into the history and development of some of the city's most important buildings.
Other travel options for people heading to Ireland include Stena Line's
ferries from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire, while
P&O and
Norfolkline/
DFDS Seaways provide
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin.
