Dun Laoghaire to host Christmas Lights Parade

Dun Laoghaire to host Christmas Lights Parade
People who are already planning some festive getaways later this year may be interested in catching ferries to Dun Laoghaire in Ireland to attend a special event in the town.

The annual Christmas Lights Parade will be held in the town centre on November 22nd this year.

Families interested in experiencing the event can catch ferries to Dun Laoghaire from Holyhead with Stena Line, which also provides a Holyhead to Dublin ferry route.

Younger visitors are sure to enjoy the Dun Laoghaire Christmas Lights Parade, which will feature events including an appearance by Santa Claus himself.

The procession will lead all the way down to Harbour Plaza, which will provide the setting for the climactic fireworks display.

People catching ferries to Dun Laoghaire can also take some time to visit the local attractions, such as Dalkey Castle and Marlay Park.

Irish Ferries provides access to Ireland with its Holyhead to Dublin and Pembroke to Rosslare ferry services, while both P&O Ferries and Norfolkline Irish Sea serve the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route.
