Property developer Immobiliere Courchevel is building the miniature village, which is expected to be complete by December 2009, reports OnTheSnow.com.
Describing the new chalets, an Immobiliere spokesperson said: "With a great view, they are aimed at people who are looking for a better quality of life with green solutions and contemporary comfort."
The development will overlook the village of Le Freney and boast features including triple glazing to conserve heating and an underground tank that will collect water to be used in the chalet bathrooms.
Courchevel is one of the most popular destinations for people taking ski holidays in France, offering access to around 600km of pistes catering to visitors of various abilities.
The resort is set to open on Saturday December 6th this year. |
