A month from today (March 17th), England play Ireland in Rugby's Six Nations and visiting fans are likely to be piling onto
ferries from Dublin to Liverpool.
The match at Twickenham comes a year after the Irish wrecked England's grand slam hopes in the final game of the championship with a 24-8 triumph in Dublin and the home side may be eager for revenge.
However, Irish fans will recall that the men in green also won on their last visit to London, when two tries by Tommy Bowe gave them a 20-16 victory, the second coming nine minutes from time after England had led 16-13.
Fans travelling via Liverpool might want to see some of the city's attractions before heading south to London.
Music lovers may enjoy a trip to the Albert Dock to see the Beatles Story, which traces the lives and careers of the famous band, as well as the social phenomenon that was Beatlemania.
