Isle of Wight ferry holidays could prove popular among film fans this month, with a series of movies set to be screened in the scenic surroundings of Robin Hill Adventure Park and Gardens.
Cinema Under the Stars will take place across five nights on the last two weekends in August.
Each event will begin at 19:30 and will show films on a giant screen measuring ten metres by five metres.
Families planning a break on the Isle of Wight this summer can reach the island by taking
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne or Ryde with
Wightlink.
The series will begin on August 20th with a showing of Jurassic Park, followed by Grease the next day.
Raiders of the Lost Ark will get the next weekend underway on Friday August 27th, followed by a sing-along version of Mamma Mia on the Saturday and The Jungle Book on August 29th.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of live music, games and entertainment on each evening before the movies begin at 20:45.
Wightlink also provides
ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, while
Hovertravel operates crossings from Southsea to Ryde.
