Enjoy a night at the circus on Rotterdam ferry breaks |  | | | 19 November 2009 | There will be plenty of festive fun on offer for people taking Rotterdam ferry breaks in December when the city hosts its annual Christmas circus.
The Kerstcircus show will be performed at the Ahoy Theatre in Rotterdam from December 18th to 30th.
One of the easiest ways for travellers to reach the city is by taking ferries to Rotterdam from Hull with P&O Ferries.
All of the traditional circus spectacles will be presented at the Ahoy Theatre, including acrobatics, clown shows, trapeze displays, contortionism, juggling and all sorts of elaborate stunts.
Performers come from all over the world to appear in the Kerstcircus Christmas event, which will be taking place for the 39th time this year.
Travellers planning a trip to Holland this Christmas can also take ferries to Amsterdam from Newcastle with DFDS Seaways or use the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry service provided by Stena Line.
Rotterdam is home to several tourist attractions, including the Netherlands Architecture Institute and the Fotomuseum.
