Guernsey ferry breaks will offer British travellers the chance to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed style of life this summer, according to the island's tourist board.
Visit Guernsey said that the isle 27 miles off the north coast of France has "something special" that is in stark contrast to "the noise and frenzy of modern Britain".
"This 'something special' is all about the gentler, quieter side of life where nature and beauty gently collide," the tourism agency stated.
Travellers interested in visiting the island this year can catch ferries from Portsmouth to Guernsey with
Condor Ferries.
There are plenty of natural aspects of the island to enjoy, including woodland retreats, cliff top walks, secluded coves and quiet bays.
Guernsey also boasts man-made attractions such as museums that explore the destination's significance during World War II.
Travellers interested in extending their journey from Guernsey can sail on to Jersey with
Condor Ferries or catch ferries to St Malo, the gateway to Brittany in northern France.
