Families may want to consider embarking on
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare this half-term, as Ireland has so much to offer at this time of year.
Just a few miles away from the port of Rosslare,
Irish Ferries explained that there is plenty to see and do, including the popular villas of Dunmore East.
It is situated just 750 metres away from the beach and is a great place to either kick back and relax, or indulge in something a little more adventurous.
Ferries from Holyhead to Dublin may be more convenient for some people and also have plenty to offer tourists once they disembark.
The city is perfect for exploring by foot, with top attractions such as the Kilmainham Gaol Historical Museum and Dublin Zoo just two of the most popular.
Pembroke to Rosslare ferries run up to twice a day, while Holyhead to Dublin ferries are accessible up to four times a day, both with Irish Ferries.
