People with a passion for theatre will be taking ferries to Dublin this year to see some celebrated plays in the Irish capital.
Currently showing at the Gate Theatre is Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning work Death of a Salesman, which is described by the venue as "one of the greatest achievements of 20th century drama".
The play tells the story of Willy Loman, a veteran salesman whose life begins to unravel when he loses his touch with the clients and starts to question his faith in his family.
Harris Yulin, who has appeared in films such as Scarface, Clear and Present Danger and Training Day, is playing the lead role at the Gate Theatre.
People interested in seeing the play can take
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line.
Death of a Salesman will run until September 25th and be replaced by a production of Boston Marriage by David Mamet, creator of such celebrated plays as Glengarry Glen Ross and Speed-the-Plow.
Boston Marriage will be the first in a series of works by Mamet, Harold Pinter and Samuel Beckett to be performed at the Gate Theatre this autumn.
Travellers planning a trip to Ireland's capital city can also take
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with
P&O Irish Sea or
Norfolkline.
