Enjoy some jazz on Spain ferry breaks

Music fans will have the perfect excuse to catch ferries to Spain to enjoy some time in the sun next month when the town of San Sebastian hosts its annual jazz festival.

The Heineken Jazzaldia event will be held in the Donostia-San Sebastian region on the north coast of Spain from July 22nd to 26th.

People interested in visiting the festival can travel on the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry route operated by P&O Ferries and take a scenic drive along the coast to reach San Sebastian.

There are a number of big names on the festival programme this year, including British artist Jamie Cullum, who will perform at Plaza de la Trinidad on July 26th.

On the same date, James Taylor will play at the Auditorio del Kursaal, while the Arild Andersen Trio will appear at Chillida-Leku.

As well as sailing to Bilbao with P&O Ferries, travellers can reach Spain by catching ferries to Santander from Plymouth or Portsmouth with Brittany Ferries.
