Wightlink
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne will prove popular with music fans this summer as Osborne House hosts two live gigs.
On August 1st, the venue will be visited by American singer Anastacia, who will be headlining a show that will also feature Escala and 2007 X Factor winner Leon Jackson.
The following evening will see popular British group Simply Red perform at Osborne House with support from Alain Clarke.
People planning to catch Isle of Wight ferries to attend one of the shows will be able to enjoy a picnic in the grounds of Osborne House while watching the open-air concert.
Osborne House, which was acquired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1845, is one of the Isle of Wight's most popular attractions.
In addition to its
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, Wightlink offers
ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth and from Portsmouth to Ryde.
Another option for travellers is the route from Southsea to Ryde operated by Hovertravel.
