Ferries to Amsterdam could prove an interesting option for car fans in January when the city plays host to the Top Gear Live world tour.
After getting underway in London and Birmingham this month and visiting Dublin, another destination that is accessible by ferry, in December, the tour will come to the Amsterdam RAI from January 21st to 24th.
Those who are interested in attending can take ferries to Amsterdam from Newcastle with
DFDS Seaways or alternatively use the Hull to Rotterdam ferry service provided by P&O Ferries to reach Holland.
The Top Gear Live show features an arena version of the popular television programme, with presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond presiding over all sorts of motoring madness and displays of expert driving.
Fans planning to see the 2010 world tour show have also been guaranteed a stunt "of such spectacular proportions it promises to be a world first".
Travellers based in the south of England can get to Holland by using the Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry route provided by
Stena Line.
