People looking for a memorable event to attend this spring might be interested in taking ferries to Dublin for the Docklands Maritime Festival.
Returning for its seventh outing this year, the celebration of all things nautical will run from June 4th to 7th.
Those planning to attend can take
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line, with the latter also offering a Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry service.
All sorts of entertainment and activities will be offered to visitors, including displays of the tall ships Jeanie Johnston, Artemis and Notre Dame de Rumengol, among others, on the river Liffey.
Theatre performances will be staged in and around Dublin's Docklands area, while groups such as the Andrews Sisters, the Gypsy Jazz Quartet and the Swinging Blue Cats will provide live music.
Visitors will also be able to gather on the Sean O'Casey and Samuel Beckett bridges on June 5th to see the annual Docklands Swim.
People planning a trip to Ireland's capital city this year can take
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with
Norfolkline or
P&O Irish Sea.
