A ferry break in Belgium or The Netherlands could offer the perfect way for Hull City supporters to take a break from the stressful business of following their team, according to P&O Ferries.
With eight games of the 2008-09 Premier League season still to be played, the Tigers are just four points away from the dreaded relegation zone.
Writing in his company blog, John Hillman of P&O Ferries advises Hull supporters to "forget their woes on the football pitch" by taking a mini cruise to the continent.
The operator provides ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge in Belgium and also sails from north-west England to Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
Offering some advice on how travellers can relax on their European ferry breaks, Mr Hillman recommends "enjoying good food, going for a relaxing stroll on deck, doing a bit of shopping or having a flutter in the casino".
P&O Ferries operates a number of other routes that are popular with people looking to get away for a few days, including a Liverpool to Dublin ferry crossing and a Dover to Calais service.
