Experience Cinemagic on Belfast ferry trips | | | | 01 October 2009 | Parents will have the opportunity to introduce their children to the world of movies this year by taking ferries to Belfast and visiting Cinemagic.
The international film and television festival, which is tailored specifically for young people, will take place at a number of venues in Northern Ireland's capital city from November 18th to December 4th.
People based in Scotland can take ferries to Belfast from Stranraer with Stena Line, while those coming from England can travel on the Liverpool to Belfast ferry route with Norfolkline Irish Sea.
Highlights of Cinemagic this year will include a celebration of the work of Roald Dahl, which will feature screenings of James and the Giant Peach, Matilda and The BFG.
There will also be showings of films including the Pixar animations Up and Finding Nemo, along with workshops and a question-and-answer session with the actress Saoirse Ronan.
As well as catching ferries to Belfast, travellers can get to Northern Ireland on the Fleetwood to Larne ferry service provided by Stena Line or by catching ferries to Larne from Cairnryan with P&O Ferries.
