There will be some unique and memorable experiences on offer to people taking Dublin ferry breaks in September when the city hosts Culture Night.
Scheduled for September 24th, the event will see museums, galleries, historic sites, churches and other locations across the Irish capital open their doors for a free evening of entertainment and education.
A record 132 cultural venues across the city will be taking part in the initiative, including the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Light House Cinema and Irish Film Institute.
Travellers can reach the destination by taking
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line.
Highlights of the 2010 Culture Night programme will include ticket giveaways for a showing of The Plough and the Stars at the Abbey Theatre, a multimedia exhibition at City Hall and a performance by actor Neil O'Shea at the Writers Museum.
Several other destinations across Ireland will be hosting special events on September 24th, such as Galway City, Cork and Limerick.
Holidaymakers heading to Ireland also have the option of taking
