Experience War of the Worlds on Dublin ferry breaks

Experience War of the Worlds on Dublin ferry breaks
Fans of the classic HG Wells novel The War of the Worlds may be interested in catching ferries to Dublin in June to see the live musical adaptation of the story.

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds will kick off a UK tour at the Dublin O2 on June 7th.

The show boasts stunning features including an 11ft floating hologram of the actor Richard Burton playing the part of the journalist George Herbert and a 35ft Martian machine that fires heat rays at the audience.

Music will be provided by a live band and orchestra conducted by Jeff Wayne, while the actress Jennifer Ellison will be among the cast members.

People interested in seeing the show can catch ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with Norfolkline Irish Sea and P&O Ferries or travel on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route operated by Irish Ferries and Stena Line.

Sci-fi fans will also have the opportunity to catch ferries to Amsterdam to see the live production of The War of the Worlds when it comes to the Heineken Music Hall from June 30th to July 2nd.
