Ferries to the Balearic Islands will provide travellers with the opportunity to visit the Festival de Pollenca in Mallorca this summer.
The celebration of music will get underway on July 3rd this year and run until August 29th.
People interested in attending the festival can catch ferries to Palma and Alcudia on the island of Mallorca with
Balearia,
Trasmediterranea and
Iscomar.
Joan Manuel Serrat will get the festival underway with a performance on July 3rd, which will be followed by a concert by Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley with the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra on July 11th.
Mezzo soprano singer Jennifer Larmore will provide the musical entertainment on August 5th with accompaniment from Opus Five, while the London Community Gospel Choir will bring the Festival de Pollenca to a close on August 29th.
There will be several other concerts at this year's festival, all of which will take place in the Claustro de Santo Domingo in Pollenca.
Travellers can reach the island of Mallorca by catching ferries to Alcudia from Barcelona with
Balearia or using the Valencia to Palma ferry route operated by
Balearia,
Trasmediterranea and
Iscomar.
