Britons may like to book an Isle of Wight ferry this Easter to take their families down for some springtime fun.
The island is organising a series of events and activities for the kids as well as the grown-ups over the four-day weekend.
Highlights include treasure hunts, crafts fairs and tours on the local steam railway, while adults can take advantage of three-night getaways in a holiday cottage.
Other key events are a jewellery workshop and a puppet show.
In a statement, the local council said: "The Isle of Wight offers a diverse range of activities to keep everyone happy over the Easter holidays."
"Whatever you do and wherever you stay, there is plenty on the Isle of Wight to keep the whole family happy this Easter," it added.
The Easter weekend in 2010 begins on April 2nd and will continue until April 5th. Britons can book a
Lymington to Yarmouth ferry to reach the Isle of Wight if they wish to partake in the festivities.
