Travellers planning to catch ferries to Ireland for their summer holiday this year will be able to take advantage of lower fares during the peak season.
Irish Ferries announced that it would be offering savings of up to 39 per cent for ferry crossings between July 4th and August 31st.
On the Pembroke to Rosslare ferry route, fares will start from £99 each way for a car plus two adults travelling from Monday to Thursday, with an extra £20 payable for each additional adult and £10 for children.
Travellers catching
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare in June can take advantage of lead-in fares from £79.
Irish Ferries also operates a Holyhead to Dublin ferry service, as well as ferries from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff in France.
The company launched an advertising campaign earlier this year highlighting the benefits of travelling by ferry and describing itself as "the carrier putting the pleasure back into travel".
