The Normandy region will play host to a series of cultural events over the coming months, ensuring that people catching ferries to France will have no shortage of intellectual stimulation.
Among the highlights of the season is an exhibition at the Musee d'Art in Cherbourg-Octeville dedicated to the cartoonist Hugo Pratt, which will be open until September 20th.
People with an interest in fashion should arrange cross channel ferry breaks before September 20th and visit the Musee et Jardin Christian Dior in Granville, which is showcasing a number of the fashion house's most stunning creations.
On the weekend of May 30th to June 1st, the village of Saint-Ceneri-le-Gerei in Normandy will host an open-air exhibition to celebrate the weekend of Pentecost.
There will also be a number of music events held in northern France this summer, including a festival in Rouen from May 30th to June 7th and a series of concerts in Orne between August 28th and September 27th.
