Swansea-
Cork Ferries is to cut its sailing season short after deciding to sell its only ferry.
However, the Cork ferry company insisted last night that it will resume services next year with a new replacement vessel better suited to the needs of the market. It confirmed the sale of the MV Superferry.
"Due to the requirements of the buyers the vessel will be delivered to the new owners in early October 2006," the firm stated.
It is now contacting all those booked to sail with it over the winter period.
